NEW HOPE CLUB Releases 'Call Me A Quitter' and 'Whatever’

With over 2,5 billion global streams and an internet following that far outstretches those of other artists, the British group NEW HOPE CLUB have just released their new songs “Call Me A Quitter” and “Whatever”. The new songs were not only written by the three members, but the latter was also produced by the singer, Blake.

Overall, both songs take us through a scintillating journey through warm summer evenings. The delivery of “Call Me A Quitter” is laid-back, evoking the sweet bitterness of relationships. Blake sings: “Maybe I’m a little too comfortable. I dropped, I dropped, I might have dropped the ball and then let it roll… I know, I know she’s becoming part of the furniture, and if I take a sit back and ask myself if I’m doing enough then I’m probably not,”.

The companion track “Whatever” is upbeat in its very essence, but echoes a similar message — past loves and letting go.
