A Tribute to Amy Winehouse: A New Biopic in the Works

Last week, deadline announced that Amy Winehouse’s legacy will be catapulted into the world of film industry. According to them, a new biopic is in the making and is helmed by the eminent filmmaker-cum-photographer Sam Taylor-Johnson.

Johnson oeuvre already comprises Fifty Shades of Grey, Nowhere Boy, and Love You More. While the storyline has not been confirmed yet, the biopic is expected to look at the life of Winehouse and document the budding, as well as climatic moments of her life. However, fans are speculating. So who is going to play the singer? As of yet, details have not been divulged, but Janis and Mitch Winehouse are involved in the casting process. Most certainly, it will be one for the books.
