GORILLAZ Release their New Track featuring Thundercat

The Grammy award-winning bassist and virtuoso Thundercat and the group Gorillaz have decided to bring an elaborate, if not a long-overdue collaboration to the world of music. The upbeat and energetic nature of their new song ‘Cracker Island’ celebrates the dawn of their collaboration, but equally, marks it as the perfect tune for the upcoming Summer months.

In a recent interview the singer 2D also remarked:

“It’s nice to be back, I’m well into our new tune, it brings back weird and scary memories of stuff that hasn’t happened yet.”

The virtual group’s World Tour 2022, which started in South America earlier this year, is also continuing. One-off shows in London at All Points East on the 19th of August and Dublin’s 3Arena on the 17th of August and on to the US in October are still on the horizon.
