A Collaboration Made to Last: Jacquemus Teams Up with Nike

Bringing runway to sportswear, the French designer Jacquemus has teamed up with Nike to invigorate Nike’s rich heritage. Using the Air Force 1 as a prototype, Jacquemus created a trainer that is made to stay. The J Force 1 is a playful take on the AF 1, merging Jacquemus’ continental flair with Nike’s athletic heritage.

Inspired by Nike’s ACG Terra silhouette, the trainer comes with a classic AF1 upper, but is truly eye-catching in the materiality of its sole. The sole is wrapped in ribbon and is stretching itself around entirely. Nike’s iconic dubrae is also emblazoned with ‘JF1’ and the swoosh is kept in metal to add a dash of opulence
